As Cambodia started their road to the FIFA World Cup 2018 I decided to look at the fans themselves. For the games I attended during this period between 2015-2017 (both competition and friendly) there was an average attendance of around 25,000 people in the iconic Olympic Stadium in Phnom Penh.  There was a jubilant atmosphere always, whether pouring rain or scorching sun as the fans stood the test of watching their country go up against the likes of Japan and Syria.
